I'm slrry Slowbro mains, but between bugs and the competition, there is no reason to pick Slowbro over any other tank, ever. The damage is meh but you’re also really hard for anyone to kill if you time amnesia correctly, meaning you get multiple surfs off per team fight.

Surf/Amensia plus Exp Share, Focus Band, and a third tank/utility item of your choice. With those three changes I think Slowbro would be pretty good.Įdit: I did some experimenting and Slowbro does have one build that works pretty decently. That’s a horrible mechanic especially when amnesia’s main role is to be used while being attacked. There’s no other buff that stuns the user. Slow bro’s surf needs to be able to compete, and scald needs to have the dps to justify sacrificing surf sometimes.ģ) Remove amnesia’s start period. They can all easily do 30-40% of a squishie’s HP with one or two abilities while ALSO throwing out AOE crowd control, even into the late game. The other meta early game tanks have pretty high base damages. That makes it more justifiable to charge in the middle of an early skirmish.Ģ) Buff the base damages of scald and surf. But in the current meta any tank has to have high base damage and some cc, even at level 3, to win lane, and Slow Bro does as much as damage as Blissey and has no CC till level 4.ġ) Give water gun a slow. Yes, he has amazing CC, surf+ is arguably the best CC tool in the game. Meanwhile Slowbro just… doesn’t do anything.
Slowbro is a tank with tons of CC, but for some reason every other tank (I’m counting wiggly) gets stupidly high damage.
